How to paint your Shellax figure
Every Shellax figure starts out white and unpainted. This allows you to design it exactly as it suits you, your shelf, or your gift.
1. Prepare the figure
Get your figure, paints, brushes or markers ready. The surface should be clean and dry.
2. Apply base colors
Start with larger areas such as the shell, body, or accessories. Thin layers of paint usually look cleaner than one thick layer.
3. Add details
Once the base color is dry, you can add small details: eyes, patterns, highlights, or personal touches.
4. Let it dry
Let your figure dry thoroughly before touching it or applying further coats.
5. Optional protection
A clear protective varnish can help keep the painted surface looking good for longer.
This is how a white Shellax figure becomes your very own character.
